tare SG she was almost forced to turn les??!! gosh the size of a male panda's *ahem* is really ... pathetic
honeymouse SG Moon cakes are very expensive over here... usually around $30 a box. Haven't had moon cakes for at least 2 years I think. I might get a box this year.
Wanda SG But who is the panda papa responsible? Edit: Oh i missed the 2nd part of the story. ..no papa.
honeymouse SG $30 only for the "traditional" ones....... those with yolks or some fancy skin will cost more than $30.
Wanda SG I may buy the less branded brand of Rong Hua – nice, not too sweet and cost $20+ or cheaper the later you buy. I like their black sesame paste in snow skin, but they don’t have a shop, so have to roam the malls to look for their stall.
the Bear SG i dunno.. that's the price i pay for it.. thing i don't get is the thing about the salted eggs.. they put cheapo salted eggs in the filling, replacing the expensive and pretty hard-to-make filling.. and they charge higher prices for it! imagine.. you have like a teaspoon of filling and you cram about 20 salted eggs in the thing, you can flog it for $100 anyway, i don't like salted eggs in the mooncake... at all
honeymouse SG I find it weird when I first heard of “Amway” brand moon cakes. I always relate Amway to some products not food.
the Bear SG i think so.. but with tupperware, they're guaranteed for life.. so that if it breaks, you just go to a tupperware place and get another in exchange
honeymouse SG I see. I still prefer glassware to plastic if I have a choice especially for microwave use.
